Wanjiru Kigathi

Wanjiru has shaped health data governance frameworks across Africa, including Kenya’s Digital Health Bill. She champions inclusive innovations such as digital braille tools for reproductive health, and her work with IGAD and GIZ has harmonized cross-border health data standards across seven Member States. This has improved interoperability, disease surveillance, and evidence-based policymaking, enabling countries to respond faster to public health emergencies and strengthen overall health system resilience.
