Ahlam Saeed Ali

Ahlam has led the deployment of digital tools across Zanzibar, from malaria case tracking to national health dashboards, and contributed significantly to Zanzibar’s Digital Health Strategy. Her work has bridged fragmented health information systems, integrating community health worker data with facility and national databases. This interoperability between Jamii ni Afya, ZanEMR, and DHIS2 has enabled real-time referral tracking, faster follow-ups, and quicker malaria outbreak responses, improving patient outcomes and enabling more efficient decision-making across Zanzibar’s health facilities.
