Estelle Kelly Nguefang Ketchejieu

Estelle Kelly Nguefang Ketchejieu is a PhD student in Public Health from Cameroon. Estelle co-founded the Ophthalmology Practice and Research Observatory (OphPRO) to address the challenge of limited access to ophthalmology services. The platform offers virtual consultations, early detection of vision problems, education, and treatment tracking. Initial trials have shown high user engagement and effectiveness in detecting vision issues. Through mentorship, she seeks to develop digital tools for improving access to ophthalmology services and contribute to public health.
